In my artistic development I constantly straddle between graphic design and photography. This project allowed me to combine my loves of both. I love you to the milky way is a phrase I often say to my husband. Taking all of the images in our home, each image connects to us in someway. Full of playful whimsy and loads of laughter...ah love is grand.

Gandhi Font Book

In the design world there are companys that sell fonts, and sometimes they make themed books to feature their fonts...catalog style. I chose to use quotes from Gandhi and henna designs from his native India. He's one of my favorite people.

Silouette

This is still one of my favorite images I've taken. I love the simple silhouette of the female form.

UVU has a student publication for arts and literature, this is a cover I made. As artists we can start with a plain piece of paper and transform it into something beautiful, giving flight to creativity and self expression.

PEACE

For this project we had to choose one of the 33 U.S. Human Rights and make a poster for awareness and a call to action. Most of the class chose violence and slavery and used black, red, and white...I chose The Freedom of Peaceful Assembly.

Logos

OGO is a word logo for a hand held touch game device. Eartia is an abstract logo for an energy investment firm. Fetching Views is a pictorial logo for a shi shi bed and breakfast for owners and their pets.

Brand Identity

This project was to brand the collaboration of a high fashion designer and an African manufacturer to bring awareness and financial support.

As you will definitely notice I loooooove industrial refineries, especially smoke stacks.

Garamond Font Poster

Claude Garamond, the debated creator of the typeface Garamond, was a metal punch cutter. Hence the junk yard pile of cut out letters.

First Designs

I started school at UVU for my second degree, a BFA in Graphic Design in 2007. These are my very first attempts at design.
